1 c butter
1 ˝ c sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp cream of tartar
˝ tsp salt
˝ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
3 ˝ c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs 1 at a time, bet in vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and blend well.

Chill for 3-4 hours
Roll and cut
Bake 6-8 minutes at 350

My mom made these cookies every year for Christmas for as long as I can remember.
Mom’s nick name her whole life was “Cookie”.
Dad Bill, Terry, Denny, Susan, Dianna, Barbara, Noreen, Linda, Tina, Billy and Valerie
My whole family enjoyed them.
These are great frosted, which is what us kids got to do.
