2-1/2 self rising corn meal
2 eggs
1-3/4 milk
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 salt
3 Tbsp. oil, or shortening melted

Directions:
Grease bottom and side of pan with oil. Mix all the ingredients together. Stir or bear well together. Pour into 9" square pan. Heat oven at 350º. Once bread has risen and has turned a nice brown color, check bread in the center with a tooth pick for doness. If the toothpick comes out dry, the bread is ready to remove from the oven
