1/2 c. sugar (twice)
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 (8 oz) Cool Whip
1 (6 oz) strawberry or raspberry jello
2 c. boiling water
2 (12 oz) pkg. frozen strawberries/raspberries

First Layer: Cream 1/2 cup sugar with butter. Add crushed pretzels and press onto bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325º for 6 minutes. Flatten more with a potato masher.
Second Layer: Stir 1/2 cup sugar, cream cheese and Cool Whip. Spread over crust.
Third Layer: Mix Jello with boiling water. Stir until dissolved. Add berries or other fruit. Stir and carefully pour over second layer. Refrigerate.
