1- 10 oz bag of Corn Chips, Fritos stay crispier longer
1/2 medium onion, chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cans chili without beans, any brand, I use Armour Brand

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat canned chili on stove or microwave oven until hot. In a 2 quart casserole dish, spread a little chili in the bottom of the dish. Put 1/3 of the bag of corn chips on top of the chili, Scatter 1/3 of the chili on the corn chip. Sprinkle with onions and cheese. Repeat layers, ending with cheese on top. Bake in oven until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.

This was a recipe that Mom made quite a lot, as it is cheap, fast and tastes so good. We loved it when she made it. I will tell you NOT to chop your onions in the food processor as you get too much onion juice and it kills the flavor of the other ingredients. I did that one time and I don't think I will EVER live it down!
