1/4 cup of sun dried tomatoes in oil chopped
2 cloves of garlic chopped
1/4 to 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper
1 lb spaghetti
1 can diced tomatoes in puree
1 lb shrimp shelled and deveined
1 1/2 cups of chopped basil

Heat large saucepan of salted water on high. Heat 12 inc skillet on medium till hot. Add sun dried tomatoes, garlic and crushed red pepper and cook until garlic is fragrant. About one min. Add spaghetti to water and cook as directed. 9 min usually. (You can throw one on the wall if it sticks it is done) Add tomatoes with puree to the skillet; heat to boiling on medium heat and cook five minutes to blend flavors, stirring and breaking up tomatoes with side of the spoon. Stir in shrimp; cook two minutes until they turn opaque throughout. Drain pasta and return to saucepot. Add shrimp mixture and basil to pasta in saucepot.
Toss to coat. Serve on a nice patter and top with sprigs of fresh basil.
