1 cup shortening 1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 Teaspoons vanilla
2 eggs 2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups M & M's or chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar/egg mixture. Mix well. Stir in M & M's or chips. Drop teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown
