6 Eggs
2 cups sugar
1 quart cream (thick country cream is best. The thicker the better!)
3 cups whole milk
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 6 eggs until yellow and thick. Add gradually 2 cups of sugar and continue beating at high speed, keeping mixture thick. Set aside.
Whip 1 quart of cream. Add gradually 3 cups of milk, being careful to keep the cream thick.

Combine the 2 mixtures, still beating at high speed and add 2 tsp vanilla.

Freeze until firm.

May substitute dark or light corn syrup, brown sugar, or honey for 1 cup of the sugar for flavor variation.

We love to serve it with crumbled oreo cookies, hot fudge, strawberries, or raspberries.
