1-2 large onions, slicked into thin rings
milk to soak rings
flour to coat rings
oil to deep fry
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onions into large thin rings. Soak in milk for one hour. Put flour in a paper bag or a very large bowl. Remove rings from milk and drop into flour. Shake the bag and make sure rings are well coated. If using, a bowl, use hands to mix rings in flour. Drop rings into hot oil to deep fry for just long enough to lightly brown onions, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from oil and allow to lie on platter lined with absorbent towel. Season with salt and pepper.
