1 beef roast (4 pounds)
1 can beef gravy
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup of oil
1 cup of water
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine chopped onion and garlic in a small dish. Season with salt and pepper. Cut slit in the middle of roast and stuff all the onion mixture inside. Season outside of roast with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a heavy roasting pot. Place the roast in the pot. Brown all sides of the roast, adding small amounts of water occasionally. After roast is brown on all sides, add the rest of the water and beef gravy (packet gravy is okay) and cover. Cook on low heat about three hours. This also makes a wonderful gravy.

*To strenghten the gravy, you can also add beef boubillion cubes and use beef broth instead of water.*

Serve over rice, smashed potatoes, or noodles.
