2 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mini chocolate chips
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 225º. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar, salt and cream of tartar. Continue to beat the eggs until stiff. Add mini chocolate chips and walnuts (optional). Bake for 1 1/2 hours on a paper lined cookie sheet. Leave in oven for 1-2 hours with door open. Keep in air tight container.
