1 box cake mix
1 T. meringue powder
1 egg (or egg white for white cake mix)
1 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. sour cream

Mix the box cake mix according to the package directions. Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Total mix time should not exceed more than 3 minutes to avoid air bubbles.

I usually put all ingredients in mixing bowl then mix for best results. This recipe makes for 2 nice sized 8" round cakes.
