Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 C milk
Wondra flour (about 2 tbsp)
8 oz four cheese Mexican blend
5 large potatoes
9x13 baking dish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Grease pan ( use Pam or butter)
Peel potatoes and slice them so that they are thin, round, and almost see through.
In a medium cooking pot saute:
Butter
Garlic
Salt
Pepper
Gradually add:
Milk
Let simmer and add Wondra a few shakes at a time while stirring until mixture becomes thicker. Use a whisk to mix in the Wondra for a perfectly smooth blend. This is now sauce.
Turn the burner off.
Using a ladle, add two scoops of sauce into the baking dish. Spread it out to cover the bottom of the pan. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the dish, add 2 scoops of sauce and a handful of cheese on top of the potatoes.
Continue process until ingredients are gone.
*Make sure that there is a healthy layer of sauce and cheese on the very top layer, it's okay to skimp on the middle layers.
Place baking dish uncovered into the oven. Bake for roughly 1 hour or until cheese is golden and slightly crispy.

This is great when serving red meat or BBQ. You can also add bacon, just fry it before using it in the layering process.
