1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup margarine
1 egg
1 tsp.vanilla
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt ( any flavored yogurt is good. Will tint cookies if you use a flavors)
2 2/3 cup flour
1 tsp.baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, margarine, egg & vanilla. Alternate sugar & yogurt to egg mixture. Add flour, baking powder, soda & salt. Seperate into two balls. Cover with saran wrap. Set in frig. for 1 hour. Roll out each ball and cut with your favorite shapes. Bake at 375º for 10 - 12 min. Let cool then ice.
