3/4 Cup Butter Softened
3/4 cup Lightly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp water
2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour (white or whole wheat)
3/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cups rolled oats
1 1/2 cups raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cram butter, sugars,egg,water and vanilla together on medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy
Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Beat on low speed until blended. stir in oats and raisins
Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets
Press flat for crisp cookies: Leave mounded for chewy cookies
Bake at 350º for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Don't over bake!
makes about 30 cookies

Tip: For a more decadent cookie, replace raisins with 1 cup of chocolate chips.
