6 or 7 Granny Smith Apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
2 flat pie crust (in box)
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Peel apples and slice thin. Toss apples with cinnamon. Add 3/4 c. sugar to apples and toss. Set aside. In 10" black skillet, add butter and brown sugar. Place in hot oven and allow butter to melt and sugar to dissolve, stirring once in a while. Remove from oven, and place one pie crust over melted butter and sugar in skillet. Put apple mixture on top of bottom crust. Place 2nd pie crust on top of apple mixture. Beat egg white until frothy. Brush over pie crust. Cut slits in crust. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
