1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1lb. 4oz. can Dole Pineapple
Maraschino cherries (optional)
1/2 package white or yellow cake mix

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, brown sugar and 2 T. pineapple syrup in cacke pan or in special upside-down cake pan. Remove from heat and arrange 5 to 7 pineapple slices and cherries in mixture.
Prepare batter as directed on cake package (using 1/2 amount of ingredients). Pour over mixture in the pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree over 40 to 50 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Invert on serving plate. Allow 2-3 minutes before removing pan.
Serve warm with whipped cream.
