4 med or 6 small green/red peppers, tops/seeds removed
1 lb. ground round
1/3 cup raw rice (brown ok)
2/3 cup water
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt and pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup ketchup
add'l 1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
3 carrots, peeled and cut into pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Wash peppers and drain well; lightly salt cavity of peppers. In medium bowl, combine ground beef, rice, water, onion, salt/pepper, garlic powder & 1/4 cup ketchup; mix well. Stuff peppers 2/3rds full. Place carrot pieces on bottom of slower cooker; arrange stuffed peppers in cooker using carrots to support them (may be stacked). Mix together remain ketchup and water; pour over peppers. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 3 hours.
