1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med onion sliced
1 clove garlic minced
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 tbs. cornstarch
1 tbs. molasses
1 tsp instant beef bouillon
3/4 c. water
1 pkg 6 oz. frozen Chinese pea pods
1 can 5 oz. water chestnuts sliced and drained
1 can 15 oz. bamboo shoots, drained
1 can 11 oz. mandarin oranges, drained, save syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Cook & stir meat, onion and garlic in large skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat.
Mix soy sauce, cornstarch & molasses. Stir into meat mixture. Stir in bouillon, water, pea pods. water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and reserved mandarin syrup heat to boiling.
Reduce heat. Cover & simmer 10 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Stir in orange segments, cover and heat 2 minutes.
Serve over cooked rice & additional soy sauce..
