3/4 cup Butter Flavored Crisco
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups oatmeal (Quick or old fashioned)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
Granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat first three ingredients until creamy. Beat in water, egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well. Cover; chill about 2 hours. Heat oven to 350º. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; pattern with tines of fork dipped in sugar to form criss cross pattern. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completely, Store tightly covered.
