2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat over 450. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Using pastry blender or knives cut shortening into flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until just combined. On lightly floured surface, knead dough 5 times. Roll out 3/4 thickeness. Using 2" biscuit cutter or top of glass with 2" mouth, make cutouts and transfer to ungreased baking sheet. Bake until golden. 8-10 minutes.
