1 White cake mix
1/3 C Poppyseed
3/4 C water
1/2 C water
4 eggs, white
1/3 C vegetable oil
1/2 C walnuts, chopped

Topping:
5-6 egg yolks
3/4 C sugar
1 C milk
3 Tblsp cornstarch

1/2 walnuts, crushed
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Soak Poppyseeds in 3/4 Cup water for 2 hours.

Mix cake mix,1/2 C of water, and the soaked poppyseed along with 4 egg whites and oil. (Save egg yolks for topping.)

Bake in 9 x 13" pan 350º for 30 minutes or til done, Cool completely

Topping:
Mix cornstarch and milk first, then add egg yolks and sugar in a double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Cool. Add 1 tsp. vanilla to cooled topping and spread over cake. Then sprinkle cake with walnuts.
