Roux, microwave

1 lb. sausage
16 oz frozen gumbo vegetable mix
4 cups cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Boil turkey in 8-10 cups water. Cook for one hour. Cool.Take meat off bones. Discard bones. Place turkey meat in turkey broth. Boil sausage in another pot about 15 minutes and discard liquid.
Place sausage in broth. Return broth to a boil.
Add roux mixture to broth stirring constantly.Add seasoning to taste. Add frozen gumbo vegetables.
Cook about 15 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.

Freezes well.
