1 round steak (approx 1 1/2 pounds)
1 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper
flour for dusting
1/3 cup oil
2 gloves garlic, crushed
1 - 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes
1 medium onion, cut into strips
1 medium bell pepper, cut into strips

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak into serving-size pieces; season with garlic powder, salt and pepper then dust with flour. In skillet, heat oil and brown both sides of meat; transfer to slow cooker. Combine garlic, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and 1 tomato can measure of water. Pour over steak and simmer on low for 6-8 hours. Add water to pot if needed as it is cooking; season to taste with additional salt/pepper. Serve with rice.
