3 c. sugar
1/c c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. cold water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar, syrup and water in a pan over slow fire, stir only until sugar is dissolved, then cook until a little tired in cold water for a softball. Beat egg whites 2 minutes on high until stiff. Continue beating, pour half of softball syrup over egg white. Then put the other half back on the fire and finish cooking syrup until hard. Crack. Then pour over the first mixture. Add nuts.
