2 c. table salt
2/3 c. water
food colouring
1 c. cornstarch mixed with 1/2c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the salt and water (add food colouring if desired)
Place over medium heat and stir until the mixture boils
Remove from heat and add cornstarch mixture.
Using a wooden spoon, stir this mixture quickly.
This should now be the consistency of stiff dough.
Wrap in plastic wrap and allow to cool
Can be recooked for one minute on low heat if it will not thicken.
Keeps in a plastic bag in the fridge.
