2 1/4 cup flour
1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 pkg chocolate chips
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour & baking soda, set aside. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla & pudding mix in a large bowl. Beat until smooth & creamy. Beat in eggs, gradually add flour to mixture. Stir in chips & nuts. Batter will be stiff. Put in lightly greased 9x13 baking pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 or until golden brown.

Butterscotch chips & butterscotch pudding can be used, or chocolate pudding & peanut butter chips.
