2 cups regular flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 cup Crisco
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 cup water
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup buttermilk (or regular milk)
2 slightly beaten eggs

Frosting:
6 Tbsp. milk
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 lb. butter
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Shift the all-purpose flour, white and brown sugars into large mixing bowl.
Combine butter, Crisco, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to rapid boil.
Pour over flour mixture; stir well.
Add in order: soda, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, buttermilk, and eggs; mix well.
Pour into a sheet cake pan sprayed with Pam.
Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Frosting:
While baking, mix and bring to boil the milk, cocoa, and butter.
Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and pecans; beat well.
Pour over cake while it’s hot.
