2 Cups washed ,cleaned,Lentils
2 Quarts water
2-3 celery stalks, chopped,
2 small carrots,chopped,
1 tblsp. chopped parsley,
1 onion chopped,
1 Garlic clove,chopped,
1 tsp. oregano,
2 Tblsp. olive oil,
3 ripe tomatoes,chopped,
1 cube bouillon
Pepper to taste,
2 Cups Kale

Place lentils in a large pot with cold water.When water comes to a soft boil,add the remaining ingredients.
Simmer covered for 1/2 hour or more.

This soup is so good anytime of year, a nice baguette is really a good compliment to this soup. Sprinkle soup with parmesan cheese before eating!
