3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2-1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
3/4 cups orange juice

Glaze:
1/2 cup orange juice
1 cup sugar
Optional: 1-1/2 tsp grated orange rind

Cookie:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat eggs; add to shortening mixture. In separate bowl, Combine flour, salt and soda. Combine all ingredients together. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.

Bake 350º. 10-12 minutes

Glaze:
Mix glaze ingredients together. Dip top of cookie in glaze while cookie is still warm
