3 c. cooked and strained sweet potatoes
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
4 beaten eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
2 unbaked pie shells

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450º. Mix all ingredients. Pour into the two pie crusts. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325º and bake 30 minutes or until set. Remove from oven. Decorate top of pie with allspice, if desired.
