2 ½ cups flour
¾ cups powdered sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten ‘til light and lemon colored
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1-2 tsp. fresh lemon zest, if possible
½ tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 cups flour and ½ cup powdered sugar. Cut in butter ‘til the texture of coarse meal. Press into greased 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until very lightly browned. Remove and cool slightly while preparing filling. Combine remaining ½ cup flour and baking powder. Beat together eggs, sugar, lemon juice and zest. Stir in flour. Pour over crust and bake for 20-25 more minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and top with ¼ cup powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Store in airtight container.
