3 cups sugar
2/3 cup Hershey's cocoa
1/8 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 cups evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa,and salt in large sauce pan. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to rolling boil. Boil without stirring until small amount dropped into cold water forms soft ball. Remove from heat, add vanilla and sugar. Do not stir. Cool at room temperature to lukewarm. Beat with wooden spoon until it looses its gloss and starts to thicken. Quickly spread into greased pan. Cool completely and cut into squares

This recipe came from the Hershey's cocoa can but this is how she made it. Hers was always perfect. Mine is either not beat enough or beat too much. Good luck
