4 lbs. bear meat cut into cubes
1 c. flour
1 c. vegetable oil
1 large onion sliced
2 garlic cloves minced
3 oz. catsup
2 oz. worcestershire sauce
1 oz. brown sugar
1 oz. paprika
1 tsp. ground mustard
2 qt. water
2 oz. corn starch
1 c. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge the bear meat in flour and brown in 1/2 of the oil. Drain off oil and place meat in large crock pot (4-5 qt.), add 2 qts. water. Saute the onions in the rest of the oil, drain and place over the meat. Add all of the remaining ingredients, except the cornstarch and water, and simmer in crock pot for 3 hours. Place cornstarch in small bowl and slowly stir in cold water with a spoon until mixed well. Pour the mixture into the crock pot and stir to thicken. Serve with warm bread. Serves 12.
