Combine the following:

1 cup cooking oil
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup cooked prunes
1 cup nuts

Topping
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tbs. white syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cake ingredients and bake in 13x9 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cook topping just until blended and pour over warm cake.
