1 (18.25 ounce) box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients called for on the box
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 additional egg
1/2 cup sugar

Directions:
Preheat oven according to cake mix instructions. Grease and flour 9"x13" cake pan or two 9" layer pans. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix and ingredients called for on the box.
Add cornstarch, cocoa and sugar. Stir to combine. Add extra egg . Beat batter for 5 minutes, using an electric mixer set on medium speed. Pour batter into cake pan. Bake cake according to instructions on package. Allow cake to cool completely before turning out onto serving platter. Frost with your favorite frosting or use a canned one.
