4 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups oil
1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups hot water
2 cups drained raisins (after soaking in hot water)
2 cups pumpkin

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients in a very LARGE bowl. Put 2 cups raisins in almost boiling water. Set aside for 5-10 minutes. Drain. In another bowl mix together everything else. Then mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix well. Batter will be somewhat lumpy. Bake in 4 regular size loaf pans greased and floured (or sprayed) at 350º F for 1 hour. Cool. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in gallon size freezer bags. NOTE: You can make 2 or 3 mini loaves out of each regular pan recipe. Bake about 45 minutes. Watch so you don't overbake. Makes great gifts around the holidays.
