1 pkg 14oz/397gr. caramels
1/3 cup cream
1 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine unwrapped caramels and cream in a small sauce pan. Cook and stir over low heat until melted, set aside.
Melt sugar and add cocoa. Blend in sugar and eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, powder and salt. Pour 1/2 the batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 15 mins. Pour caramels over baked layer. Drop remaining batter in heaping spoonfuls over caramel layer. Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes more.
