1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1 c. oatmeal (quick cook)
1 tsp. salt
black pepper to taste
1 (6-oz.) can of tomato sauce
Glaze:
catsup
1/2 c. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix raw hamburger, egg, oatmeal, salt, pepper and tomato sauce together until the texture of the hamburger changes to smooth. Shape into a loaf. Put into an 8x8 pan. Cover the bottom of the pan with water. Place into an oven pre heated to 350º. Bake 30 minutes. Mix the catsup and the brown sugar together to form a paste (should be thick enough to stay on top of the meat loaf but thin enough to spread). Cover the top of the loaf with the glaze. Return to the oven and continue to bake 15 minutes.
