1 cup soft shortening
2 cups packed brown sugar
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well shortening, sugar, eggs. Sift flour, salt, soda. Stir in nuts. Shape into 2 inch rolls. Chill. Slice 1/8 inch thick. Heat oven to 400º. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
