4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 baking molasses
2 eggs
3/4 cup sour milk
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs beat.
2. Add molasses and sour milk; mix.
3. Combine dry ingredients and add to mixture.
4. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Glaze by brushing to with beaten egg.
5. Bake at 350º for 8 to 15 minutes

Gram's cookies did not need preservatives because these did not last long. She made really big molasses cookies and we all loved them.
