1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 dosen eggs
1 1/2 tsp.baking powder.
4 cups flour
pinch salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp anise

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter,add sugar. Beat well and add egg yolks,anise and vanilla.Mix flour and baking powder together and add to egg mixture.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture,dough should not be sticky,add enough flour so batter will drop from floured spoon.
Refrigerate dough 2 hours. Heat up pizzelle iron and drop a spoonful at a time.
