Momma’s Peanut Butter Balls Recipe

1 pound butter
2 cups creamy peanut butter
2-3 pounds confectioners’ sugar
3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Gulf Wax Household Paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and peanut butter together.
Add confectioners’ sugar until the consistency to form into balls the size of marbles.
Add vanilla and mix well (may need to use hands rather than mixer)
Place chocolate in small heavy pot (do not use stainless steel)
Shave a small amount of wax into pot with chocolate
Melt chocolate and wax over very low heat until smooth. (If chocolate is too thick to dip balls, add additional wax)
Dip balls in chocolate and wax mixture, using a toothpick.
Place on a greased cookie sheet (or waxed paper lined cookie sheet) to cool. Cover toothpick hole with a drizzle of melted chocolate
