1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 bag Kraft Caramels
1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 small can of Evaporated Milk
3/4 cup melted Butter
Walnuts or Pecans if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in a bowl. Pat out half of the cake mixture in a 9 X 13 greased pan. Bake at 350º for 5 minutes.

Melt the caramels and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in a glass dish in the microwave. Do not overheat!!

Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts (if desired) on top of the cake and drizzle with caramel. Put large dollops of leftover dough on top, spacing out a bit. It will all come together in the oven.

Bake for another 15-20 minutes.
