1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
Dash of salt
2 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to first mixture. Roll thin, cut with cookie cutter and bake at 350º until lightly browned.
