1 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsps sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 egg yolk beaten in liquid measuring cup with added milk to measure 2/3 c. mark (total)
1 slightly beaten egg white
1 c. crushed corn flakes
4 lg. peeled apples, sliced
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, salt, butter and egg yolk with milk. Mix together. Press half of dough into 9x13 pan. Sprinkle corn flakes over dough and apple on top of flakes. Mix together 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Roll remaining dough and lay on top. Brush with beaten egg white. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until apples are tender. Spread a powdered sugar icing on while warm.
