1 cup salt (finely ground sea salt is what I use)
1 cup garlic powder
1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 cup black pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup onion powder
1/3 cup paprika
1/4 cup corn starch
2 tablespoons ground Chile chipotle (optional)
2 tablespoons tumeric
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:

Mix all ingredients until well blended. Use as a dry rub for roasts and ribs and poultry or as a seasoning for stews, soups, vegetables. May also use on fish and seafood.

This is a basic dry rub and seasoning mix which is good for all around seasoning. Adding additional ingredients such as Italian season mix for Italian foods, or for the Tuscany touch, add some marjoram and basil and lemon pepper.
