1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients except flour in a large mixing bowl. In a smaller mixing bowl mix eggs, sour cream, vanilla, lemon juice, and shortening. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients until smooth. Then gradually add flour to your dough. Refrigerate for an hour. Bake in a preheated 350° oven, 8 minutes.
