1 1/4 c. + 2 Tbsp of flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg

Directions:
Beat all except egg for 2 minutes. Add egg and beat 2 more minutes.
Bake in 9x9 square pan at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes.
