1 c. sliced almonds
1 c. confection sugar
3 large egg whites
pinch of salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 drops green food coloring
2 drops neon pink food coloring
1/3 c. strawberry preserves

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300º
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper
Mix almonds with confectioner sugar in food processor till finely ground. Set aside
Beat egg white with salt on medium setting until foamy, raise to high , add sugar 1 Tbs. at a time
Fold in 1/2 of nut mixtureinto whites, add vanilla and remaining almond mixture. Divide batter into two parts, add green coloring into one and pink to other ,put pink batter into ziplock bag, make small hole in corner and pipe drops onto cookie sheet, do same with green batter, and bake 15 min., rotating baking pan. When done let cool, and sandwich together with preserves. min ,
