6 (6 oz.) frozen cod fillets (no need to thaw)
Water
½ cup white sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, melted (do not use margarine)
1 dash paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat broiler. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. Place the fish in a large saucepan. Add cold water until fish is covered. Remove fish and add sugar & salt to the water and stir. Replace the fish and bring to a boil over a medium high heat. Boil for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove fillets from water and blot on paper towels to remove excess water. Place in the greased 9x13 baking dish and brush melted butter on each fillet (don’t be shy) and sprinkle with paprika. Broil for 8 to 10 minutes per inch of thickness, or until the fillets are golden brown.
